York, Pennsylvania, with operations throughout PA, MD, VA, WV, and OH. We own, manage, and lease
approximately 3 million square feet in 20+ grocery-anchored shopping centers, and we are also active in

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Paralegal to support our legal and property
management operations. The ideal candidate enjoys handling a fast-paced workload, takes initiative, and
thrives working with both our in-house teams and outside counsel.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and abstract commercial lease documents, amendments, assignments, etc.
• Research real estate matters including title/property ownership, locating and obtaining recorded
documents.
• Liaise with the Property Management department to communicate and resolve tenant rent
delinquencies and lease breaches.
• Coordinate with external lawyers for litigation, landlord/tenant disputes, bankruptcy, tax appeals,
and personal injury suits.
• Investigate and help implement new technologies for improved business workflow.
• Form entities (LLCs, etc.), handle UCC searches, prepare closing checklists, and participate in
property closings.
• Manage legal database and ensure filing/compliance with relevant statutes.
• Provide general support to owners, general counsel, and other company leaders.
• Travel locally for court filings, site visits, or in-person property research, as needed (valid driver’s
license and reliable transportation required).

Technology Platforms/Tools Used:
Our team uses the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Monday.com for project
management, Slack for internal communication, and Yardi for property management. Experience with
these—or similar—platforms is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with paralegal certification strongly preferred.
• Prefer a minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial real estate, litigation, or related legal environment.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, online legal research, and property records databases.
Willingness to learn new technologies/platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently, independently, and collaboratively in an on-site environment.
• Superior attention to detail, time-management, and organizational abilities.
• Strong professional ethics and confidentiality.
• Experience with property management software or legal technology tools a plus.
