We are in need of lifeguards for our indoor and outdoor pools. Recreation Center is located at 16511 Diana Ln, Houston, Tx 77062.

Responsible for ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies.

Certification in the following: American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and First Aid American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer

*CLCCA is providing a two-year Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Class for a fee. Discounts and payroll deduction for this class is available to those who interview successfully. Visit clcca.org for class information and registration.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Thorough knowledge and application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques, an understanding of facility characteristics, rules, policies, and procedures Leadership and public relations skills Decision-making skills

RESPONSIBILITIES: Recognize and respond effectively in emergencies. Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations. Inspect the facility and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor. Complete records and reports. Participate in regular in-service training sessions. Exercise regularly to maintain fitness level (strength and endurance).

Indoor Pool Available Shifts: M-F 6am-Noon and/or 4pm-8pm; Sat/Sun Noon-6pm
