Location: Los Angeles, CA
Time Type: Full-Time
Direct Counsel represents an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a high-performing Employment Associate with 1–2 years of experience (at least one year of practicing experience required). This role is ideal for associates who thrive in fast-paced, high-performance environments and are eager to contribute to a dynamic Employment Practice Group.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise and represent clients in a wide range of employment matters in California.

Handle wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA class actions, single-plaintiff litigation, and claims involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

Support matters involving non-compete, trade secret, and traditional labor issues (experience in these areas a plus).

Draft and analyze motions, briefs, and pleadings with strong attention to detail.

Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on litigation strategy and client counseling.
Qualifications:

1–2 years of employment law experience with a focus on litigation and counseling.

Strong academic credentials and excellent writing and analytical skills.

California Bar admission required and in good standing.

Proven ability to succeed in high-pressure, fast-paced work environments.
