Position Overview
The Production Supervisor plays a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the production team within the food manufacturing sector. This position ensures that production goals are met efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards. The supervisor is responsible for leading a team, optimizing production processes, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and develop production staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Monitor production metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure materials and resources are available for production.
  • Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within food manufacturing or beverage industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Experience in dairy production is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
