High production custom millwork facility is looking for an operator to work in the tool room in South Windsor, CT!
Schedule:
- Monday- Friday 7AM-3:30PM some Saturdays required.
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Responsibilities:
- Knife Grinding Machine set up
- Tool set up
- Profile Knife Grinding/ Sharpening
- Maintaining Customer Tooling Inventory
- Training on TurboCAD Drawing program
Desired Background/Skills:
- Wood working: 1 year (Preferred)
- Lumberyard experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to speak, understand and communicate safely, work related instructions
- Ability to read work orders, tape measures, calipers and prints
- Ability to follow safety procedures when lifting, bending and twisting.
- *KNOWLEDGE OF HARDWOOD LUMBER AND WOODWORKING EXPERIENCE A MUST
