Job Description

Hello! It’s Us You’re Looking For -

We’re not your average law firm. At O’Connor Family Law, we’re fighters, strategists, advocates. We focus on divorce, custody, and high-conflict family law, and we’re extremely passionate about what we do, which is helping clients work toward better futures. Clients are navigating some of the most challenging moments of their lives, and we show up with compassion, excellence, and a relentless drive to help them emerge stronger than they started.

If you thrive in high-stakes environments, like to laugh while getting serious work done, and take pride in being the behind-the-scenes powerhouse that holds it all together (as well as tell the attorneys what they need to do), you might just be our next paralegal.

Let’s be real; This job is for someone who knows family law inside and out already. We need a legal unicorn who can hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding.

  • Reviewing and organizing financial documents, GAL reports, and DCF records
  • Preparing cases for hearings and trials—including exhibit binders, timelines, and witness coordination

  • Keeping our lawyers sane (okay, that part’s unofficial…but appreciated)

Qualifications:

You Might Be the One If You:

  • Have at least 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in divorce and custody law(Massachusetts procedural experience strongly preferred)

  • Communicate like a pro (or maybe like a coach) with clients, team members, and courts

About Company

Values: C.H.A.N.G.E.

Courageousness: Life unfolds in proportion to your ability to face fears, stand up for what is right, and inspire change. Sometimes, someone else needs you to be courageous for them so they can find the strength in themselves.

Honesty: We don't just tell people what they want to hear. The truth isn’t always the easiest, but not telling it destroys trust.

Navigator: Our goal is to be like a lighthouse that continues to shine and guide others through the rough waters to safety.

Growth: We possess a never-ending drive to push ourselves and those around us to continuously improve personally, professionally, and emotionally.

Empowerment: When you change the way you think, you change your future. We cannot empower someone to do or be something; we can only give them the tools to empower themselves to reach their goals.
