Proto Pilates & Wellness LLC is a boutique Pilates studio dedicated to the classical method. We offer private, duet, and small group classes in a calm, client-centered environment. Our approach is rooted in the integrity of the original system with a focus on control, flow, precision, and individualized support for each of our clients.
We’re looking for a comprehensively trained Pilates instructor to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate is familiar with the Classical system, is confident teaching the full repertoire across all apparatus, is comfortable adapting for different levels and needs, and is able to deliver high-quality, consistent instruction with professionalism and warmth.
Who You Are:
- Certified in comprehensive Classical Pilates (mat + apparatus)
- Confident teaching private sessions, duets, and small group classes across all apparatus.
- Deep understanding of the classical system and how to teach it with both fidelity and creativity
- Flexible schedule with at least 2–3 consistent shifts/week, plus openness to picking up additional sessions
- Organized, self-motivated, and professional
- Warm, engaging presence with excellent communication skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver one-on-one and duet Pilates sessions using classical apparatus and mat repertoire.
- Teach small group classes.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and reset after use.
- Communicate directly with clients and manage bookings via the studio’s Wix app
- Handle intake forms and ensure proper documentation before first sessions.
- Represent Proto Pilates professionally in all interactions.
Requirements:
- Comprehensive classical Pilates certification (from a reputable training program)
- Liability insurance (required before start date)
- Experience teaching private sessions preferred, but willing to work with the right candidate
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity
- Willingness to honor the studio’s contractor agreement and uphold a collaborative studio culture.
