Alpha Loop Capital is a newly launched long-short equity hedge fund focused on uncovering asymmetric opportunities in small- and mid-cap markets through fundamental research, options trading, and strategic activism. Role Overview
Alpha Loop Capital is seeking a Director of Capital Formation to lead fundraising efforts and expand our investor base. This role is designed for a highly motivated, accomplished professional who has a strong desire to grow quickly alongside the firm. Ideal candidates will have an established network of Family Offices, Institutional Investors, and High-Net-Worth Individuals that they can call on to help jumpstart their fundraising efforts.
Initially, compensation will be 100% commission-based. As a result, compensation will include:
- Attractive commission rate based on the amount of fees earned from capital raised.
- Annual Bonus plus additional bonuses based on performance.
- Profit share and/or equity compensation for high-level performers.
Flexible Structure: Terms negotiable based on experience and pedigree.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan, identifying and cultivating relationships with prospective investors.
- Work directly alongside the firm's CIO/PM to help accelerate capital raising efforts.
- Leverage existing networks and build new channels to secure capital commitments.
- Educate potential investors on the Fund’s investment philosophy, strategy, and risk management approach.
- Lead investor due diligence processes, addressing inquiries and ensuring seamless onboarding.
- Provide regular market feedback and investor insights to the senior leadership team.
- Maintain strict compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in capital raising activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in Capital Formation, Investor Relations, or Institutional Sales for hedge funds, private equity, and/or other alternative investments.
- Established network of Institutions, family offices, financial advisors, and accredited investors.
- Deep understanding of capital markets, hedge fund structures, and alternative investment strategies. Options knowledge is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial with the ability to work independently, balance multiple tasks, and drive results.
- Licenses: Series 7/63 or equivalent licensing, ideally.
