Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our facilities and equipment in optimal condition. Must have at least one trade.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems
- Troubleshoot issues to determine root causes and implement solutions
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools
- Inspect and maintain building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
- Fabricate parts as needed using various tools and techniques
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work orders and inventory tracking
- Supervise maintenance staff when necessary
Skills:
- Proficiency in logic controllers and electrical systems
- Ability to weld and read schematics
- Experience with facilities maintenance and repair
- Strong customer service skills for interacting with internal teams and external vendors
- Leadership qualities to guide maintenance projects effectively
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking
- Experience in supervising maintenance teams
