Job Purpose: Ensure common areas in the hotel are kept in clean and orderly condition.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Cleans assigned areas and ensures areas are free of clutter
- Dust and clean inside of building
- Sweep & mop common areas
- Vacuum stairs, hallways and common areas
- Clean hotel restrooms
- Empty trash and garbage containers around hotel
- Responsible for supporting guest requests (i.e., bringing additional items to rooms; towels, pillows, glasses, etc.) as needed
- Ensure pool area and gym is well maintained, including keeping clean towels stocked
- Assist other housekeeping staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Basic reading and writing
- Must have a STRONG attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push heavy carts without assistance repeatedly
- Must be a fast pace worker and work well with others
- Repetitive motions of standing, bending, stooping, kneeling and moving are required
- Must be able to work weekends and some Holidays
