We are seeking a Family Law Paralegal to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to the attorneys' business needs as well as assist the senior paralegal/office manager.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Record and store client information
- Draft and respond to discovery
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paralegal working in a Family Law office. Minimum of 3 years preferred.
- Ability to work with little to no training required.
- Familiarity with legal research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented

We need someone with self-initiative to address daily tasks without needing to be asked. We are unable to train so we need someone who already knows court forms and procedure.
We mostly practice family law, however we do Dependency, Minor's Counsel, and some Criminal law as well. We have offices in a quiet office building right next to the courthouse. You can have your own office, there's two conference rooms, and a full kitchen area. We would like someone who's looking for a full time job. We are growing quickly so we need someone who is reliable and ready to be a part of the team in this fast growing law practice.
