Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and client-focused Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join our growing personal injury team. Paralegal will oversee a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement or transition to litigation. This role requires excellent communication skills, commitment to excellent client care, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, ensuring effective progression and timely resolution.

· Maintain frequent, proactive communication with clients to provide updates, answer questions, and offer guidance.

· Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to coordinate case activities.

· Collect, review, and organize case documentation, including medical records, bills, and insurance correspondence.

· Assist with preparation and review of demand packages, settlement documents, and legal correspondence.

· Support settlement negotiations and assist with case transition to litigation if necessary.

· Maintain accurate and confidential case files, ensuring compliance with data security protocols.

· Uphold ethical standards and professionalism in all communications with clients, adjusters, and external partners.

Qualifications & Competencies

· Strong client service skills with the ability to empathize and build rapport.

· Prior experience in personal injury case management or a legal support role preferred but not required.

· Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple cases and deadlines.

· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe (PDF editing and document management).

· Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and correspondence.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

· High integrity and respect for confidentiality.

Performance Expectations

· Efficiently manage caseloads to keep cases moving forward.

· Provide consistent, timely communication and excellent service to clients.

· Accurately maintain and update case documentation.

· Collaborate effectively with attorneys and team members.

· Contribute to continuous improvement and process efficiency within the firm.
