Roles and Responsibilities:

Handle a full caseload of auto insurance coverage cases from inception through trial and appeal, if necessary.

Take and defend depositions, argue motions in limine, negotiate settlements, and try cases to verdict.

Work extensively on PIP litigation and coverage issues including BI, UM, rescission, and order of priority.

Guide and collaborate with support staff for efficient file management and case progression.

Utilize technology including Westlaw, Outlook, Word, and operate in a paperless environment for courtroom presentations.
Qualifications:

5+ years of civil litigation experience handling first and/or third-party auto insurance and coverage matters.

Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

Active license and good standing with the Michigan State Bar.

Strong trial skills including cross-examining witnesses and handling complex motions.

Proficiency in digital tools and familiarity with Michigan state and local court procedures.
Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000, based on experience.

Hybrid schedule: 2-3 days per week in a professional, team-oriented office.
