Litigation Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, particularly in matrimonial and family law. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively handle complex legal issues and provide top-notch representation to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court during litigation proceedings
- Prepare and file legal documents, including motions and pleadings
- Conduct depositions and gather evidence to support cases
- Advise clients on legal rights and options in family law matters
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategies
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes outside of court
- Stay updated on changes in family law and litigation practices
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Valid state bar license
- Minimum of 1-3+ years of experience in litigation, with a focus on matrimonial and family law
- Strong knowledge of family law principles and court procedures
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Proven ability to handle trials and depositions confidently
