Job Description

Job Title: Packaging Structural Designer (CAD) – 1st Shift

Salary: $50,000 annually

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday

Location: Chicopee, ma

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Packaging Structural Designer with CAD experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and test packaging solutions that are both functional and cost-effective, ensuring they meet customer requirements and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop packaging structures using CAD software.
Create prototypes and perform testing to ensure durability, efficiency, and functionality.
Collaborate with production, sales, and engineering teams to meet client specifications.
Revise and update packaging designs based on feedback and testing results.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of designs and revisions.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Design, Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
Strong problem-solving and technical drawing skills.
Knowledge of packaging materials, production processes, and design best practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
