Job DescriptionDescription:Direct Care Staff – Mental Health (Oceanside, CA)

Be the difference in someone's mental health journey. Crownview is hiring Direct Care Staff to support adults with psychiatric disorders in a structured residential setting.

Pay & Perks:

  • $21.00-$22.00/hr + $1,000 sign-on bonus

Schedule:

  • Mon–Fri: 2 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Sat–Sun: 6 AM – 10:30 PM
  • Days off during the week; some flexibility required

Location:
Oceanside, CA – Must relocate prior to starting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support clients in daily routines
  • Help with transportation, appointments, and activities
  • Document behaviors, assist with groups, and ensure safety
  • Light housekeeping and life skills coaching
  • Must be 21+ with a valid CA driver’s license and clean record

? Requirements:

  • 1 year of mental health or caregiving experience preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Pass background check, health screening, and TB test

The job requires frequent contact with water (hand washing and cleaning) and working with body fluid and hazardous chemicals. When under these working conditions, OSHA standards and universal precautions must be followed always. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal to high volumes of stress.
