Athletic Trainer – PRN Position – Supports Multiple Locations in Greater Raleigh Area

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site athletic training services for local athletic events, including high school practices and competitions
- Deliver immediate injury assessment, emergency care, and first aid during athletic events
- Implement injury prevention strategies, including taping, bracing, and warm-up/cool-down protocols
- Coordinate care and communicate effectively with physical therapists, physicians, coaches, school personnel, athletes, and families
- Support return-to-play decisions in alignment with physician protocols and best practices
- Document injuries, treatments, and incident reports in accordance with company, state, and regulatory standards
- Educate athletes, parents, and coaches on injury prevention, rehabilitation compliance, and safe participation
- Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements, NATA standards, and company policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field required
- Current state Athletic Trainer licensure (or eligibility) required
- CPR and First Aid certifications required
- CSCS through the NSCA preferred
- Experience providing on-site coverage for athletic events preferred
- Strong clinical decision-making and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-pressure environment
