Job Description
Join our Assembly Department as an Operator, where you will be responsible for operating processing and packaging equipment. You will ensure the accurate weighing, measuring, and checking of raw materials with the assistance of computer interfaces to guarantee the proper materials and quantities are used in batch manufacturing. This role involves calibrating and operating semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment, performing in-process sampling and testing, and complying with all company safety regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and other packaging equipment.
- Weigh, measure, and check raw materials using computer interfaces to ensure batches contain correct materials and quantities.
- Calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Perform in-process sampling and testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
- Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures.
- Follow all safe practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Complete and maintain Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements, GMPs, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain equipment and laboratory room to ensure proper operating conditions and cleanliness.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
- Receive general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignments.
- Analyze situations or data to address problems requiring a review of identifiable factors.
Essential Skills
- Experience in production, cleanroom, assembly, and medical device inspection.
- Proficiency in packaging and packaging manufacturing.
- Ability to perform general labor and production tasks.
- Knowledge of GMP standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to operate processing and packaging equipment efficiently.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic environment operating various processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, and filtration systems. You will be required to follow all safety regulations, SOPs, and GMP standards. Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper operating conditions of equipment and lab room. Exercise judgment in performing duties, with general instructions provided for routine tasks and detailed guidance for new assignments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eugene, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
