Healthcare Customer Care Representative Compensation

The pay for this position is $19.00 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

Healthcare Customer Care Representative Highlights

Training schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM local time

Post-training schedule: Monday – Friday, shift options available (between 9:00 AM – 12:15 PM starts)

Remote position – must be located in Tennessee

Contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for conversion to permanent
Healthcare Customer Care Representative Responsibilities

Assist members with their pharmacy benefit plans via inbound phone calls
-
Answer questions about prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions

Deliver empathetic, professional support while helping members understand their benefits
-
Multi-task between multiple computer programs and dual screens while engaging callers
-
Provide clear problem-solving and solutions to simplify the healthcare experience

Maintain compliance with HIPAA, government regulations, and company policies
Healthcare Customer Care Representative Requirements

Must reside in Tennessee

Must have reliable, hardwired internet (25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload) – screenshot required on resume

Must have a quiet, secure home workspace

High School Diploma or GED required
-
At least 1 year of customer service experience (call center, retail, hospitality, military, or related)

Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications

Comfortable being on camera for training and virtual meetings
-
Safety Sensitive role – drug test required
-
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications

6+ months of healthcare-related experience

Associate degree or equivalent work experience
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patience, empathy, and professionalism
