Our client is a property management firm. They seek a temp Assistant Property Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Property Management with the day-to-day operations and tenant relations
- Answer and route phone calls from tenants and vendors to the appropriate person
- Schedule building maintenance, communicate procedures, and supply general information
- Maintain current and emergency tenant contact lists and tenant information manuals
- Provide support to Property Managers by producing various forms, spreadsheets, manuals, etc.
- Correspond with tenants, contractors, and other third parties for the Property Management staff
- Manage insurance certificate files for all contractors performing work at the properties
- Contribute to office operational needs by providing phone coverage and ordering supplies
- Share Risk Management Policies and Incident Reports immediately upon occurrence
Requirements
- 2+ years of administrative experience
- Commercial leasing industry background
- Knowledge of office and accounting procedures
- Familiar with facilities operations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to research, problem-solve, and meet deadlines
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
