Industrial Timber is currently seeking a Industrial Maintenance Tech in Claremont, NC

Industrial Timber is looking for a full-time Experienced Maintenance Tech responsibility to include all maintenance activities within the plant relating to production and equipment support as well as the maintenance team personnel.

Required experience:

Maintenance in Manufacturing/ Industrial Environment: 2-3 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Good safety record, good attendance
• Must have time management skills.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Controls, safeties, motors contactors, heaters, etc. PLC Controls Servo system and controls
• Must have knowledge of basic machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Consult manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems and determine optimum equipment functioning.
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge in PLC troubleshooting and ok computer skills
• Perform preventative Maintenance tasks.
• Lubrication of equipment and machinery following standard
• Procedures as indicated on P.M. sheets or in equipment manuals.
• Prepare and maintain records detailing tests, repairs, and maintenance.
• Dismantle machines or equipment using hand tools and power tools to examine parts for defects and replace defective parts where needed.
• Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions, following checklists. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Keep work area clean during the shift.
• Must be able to lift 45 pounds or apply at least 45 pounds of torque pressure.
• Ability to work with others in a group or team.
• Moderate physical demands, hot, cold, and damp environment
