We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician who will be responsible for supporting plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, maintaining, and installing electrical/electronic systems for production related equipment and building utilities within the facility. Schedule is Monday-Friday with overtime as needed. Opening could be either 2nd (2:45PM - 11:00PM) or 3rd (10:45PM - 7:00AM) shift. Starting pay of $45.48 - $46.73/hour depending on shift. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair all electrical equipment, components, transducers, and complex timing and inspection devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned electrical systems.
• Identify inefficiencies and potential electrical problems and coordinate through supervisor to resolve issues.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and corrects through programmable logic controls (PLC's).
• Perform maintenance on AC and DC power systems with voltage up to 480V.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical devices and equipment in the plant to include PLCs, HMI's, AC and DC Drives, VFD's, limit switches, prox switches, and motors.
• Assist in new installation and upgrades of plant equipment.
• Install and maintain high-speed, industrial process equipment, power, lighting, control, and PLC logic controls for all production process and control equipment.
• Follow all plant safety rules, LOTO, & required PPE at all times.
• Follow all SOP’s that are applicable to performing this work as well as general plant SOP’s. Ensure that all quality SOP requirements are being followed, and visual inspection is occurring at all times and documented.
• Good housekeeping is required at all times. Work area is to be clean, orderly and free of hazards at all times.
• Assist and support other production floor operations as required.
• Participate in team meetings as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Journeyman Certification and/or Master certification a plus.
• Experience working on plant equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• All applicants will be tested for Electrical Aptitude.
• Working knowledge of automation and controls. Ability to utilize ladder logic to troubleshoot preferred.
• Must be able to read and comprehend electrical schematics.
• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.
• This position also requires manual dexterity/fine motor skills.
• Provide basic hand tools.
• Ability to work an eight (8) hour shift, frequent overtime may also be required.
