We are interested in people who are inspired and passionate to help others in need. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Pearl's Cove, you are a part of the improvements, changes, and accomplishments our clients achieve every day. Direct Support Professionals assist clients with:

• Community Outings and Therapies
• Exercise and Health
• Cooking and Household Duties
• Hygiene Related Tasks - Bathing/Showering, Toileting, Tooth Brushing etc.
• Building Relationships

We are located in San Diego. Candidates within 25 miles of zip code 92114 are encouraged to apply.

Schedules Available - Full-time and On-Call positions

• AM shift
  • 6 am - 2 pm
• PM Shift
  • 2 pm - 8 pm or 2 pm - 10 pm
• Overnight Shift
  • 10 pm - 6 am

Requirements

• Direct Support Provider Certificates (1) & (2)
  • Must have certificates or be willing to enroll and pass within Twenty - One (21) Days.

• Valid Driver's License with 24 months of driving experience (preferred) & Driver Insurance
• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• 18 years or older

Pay Information

San Diego County Minimum wage is: $16.80 per hour.

DSP Training is a non negotiable to work in our home and may assist in consideration of sign on bonuses and / or increased starting pay (up to $21 / hr; includes costs of benefits).
