Join our dynamic Legal department as a Senior Real Estate Paralegal and play a pivotal role in supporting our team. In this role, you will be instrumental during complex real estate transactions, from reviewing title commitments and surveys to preparing commercial leasing documents and closing binders. Your expertise will ensure smooth and efficient transaction processes, and your ability to cultivate trusting relationships with clients will be key to our success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Review title commitments and surveys, prepare or respond to any title objections and attend to issue resolution.
- Assist with closing transactions, including tracking and maintaining transaction timelines and due diligence checklists for numerous deals ranging from construction to land and building acquisitions, dispositions and refinances.
- Draft, review and edit documents; organize the execution of documents for closings; maintain files for closings and follow up as necessary regarding outstanding documentation.
- Prepare first drafts of commercial leasing documents, including letters of intent, new leases, amendments, commencement certificates and termination agreements.
- Create new corporate entities and prepare organizational documents; manage and optimize entire organizational structure; apply for DBAs as necessary.
- Drive project management, prioritization and organization of work for the Legal department.
- Manage business licensing, including submission of new license applications and annual renewals and reporting.
- Assemble and maintain closing binders for commercial real estate transactions.
- Draft and review service and vendor agreements; track execution and organize files.
- Summarize, outline, edit, and compare legal documents.
- Assist in creating, updating and maintaining department processes, procedures and document templates.
- Cultivate trusting working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external clients.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Paralegal Certificate and/or Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- At least 5 years of law firm, corporate / in-house or government experience in a transactional real estate legal practice or organization is required.
- Experience in closing complex and high value real estate and financial transactions.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams and Outlook. SharePoint experience a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 5-10 pounds

- Specific vision abilities required by the job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Pay: $90,000 - $120,000 annual salary + bonus eligibility. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position; including experience, skills, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
