Environmental Services is a large (170+) team of Service Professionals responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment. Our team receives advanced training in disinfection and infection prevention to clean in patient care areas. They utilize state of the art equipment in order to clean our 1.8 million square feet of space. Customer service is also our specialty, as we work with and around our patients and staff in a very busy medical center.

If you do not have experience, we will train you for this position.

Position Summary and Responsibilities:
As Environmental Services Specialist, you will perform a variety of general cleaning duties including buffing and refinishing of floors, carpet maintenance and the transporting of all waste, recyclables and other materials to help maintain a clean, healthy and safe environment for patients, visitors and employees. If you do not have experience, we will train you for this position.

Qualifications:

<li>Ability to read and write required.</li>
<li>Prior satisfactory work experience is preferred.</li>

FULL TIME SOLID WASTE ATTENDANT The Full Time Solid Waste Attendant performs a variety of tasks associated with helping to operate the Town of Hartford Recycling and Waste Management Center, including the issuance of permits and punch cards, coordinating the pickup of materials, interfacing with customers and providing guidance on the proper location for the disposal of materials, and operates a variety of vehicles and specialized equipment. This is a full-time (40 hour per week) position with a salary range of $21.76 to $27.47 based on experience. HELP WANTED TOWN OF SPRINGFIELD Rewarding Career as a Wastewater Collections Operator The Town of Springfield, VT is seeking a Collections Operator for a full-time position in the Wastewater Department. The Operator performs the daily routine tasks concerning the operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant(s), Collection System, Pumping Stations, Compost Facility, and the pre-treatment facility. This position requires knowledge of the operation of wastewater treatment plant(s); ability to perform arithmetic computations, to take accurate readings and keep routine records for both the Wastewater Plant and Collection System; ability to read blueprints and maps; ability to diagnose and follow through on need for repairs related to the Wastewater Collection System; ability to learn and operate function operation &amp; maintenance of vacuum truck; ability to operate gas detectors and safety equipment; ability to operate and maintain the wastewater camera; and ability to operate SCADA. Must have a High School Diploma or GED, wastewater experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate, possession of a valid CDL required (Level B required with Tanker endorsement), Certified as a VT Water Pollution Control Operator (Grade I or better). Pay is $22.23 - $25.03 depending on experience, CDL requirement and certifications. This is a non-exempt, Union position with an excellent benefits package.
