<ul>
<li>Must be willing to work with all regulatory agencies, i.e., Gaming Commission, State, and Federal.</li>
<li>Must learn and ensure policies and procedures are being followed per the departments' Internal Controls.</li>
<li>Must adhere to the Mistequa Casino Hotel Team Member Handbook.</li>
<li>Must adhere to our SMILE service standards by providing excellent customer service at all times. Maintain a positive and productive attitude with customers as well as fellow team members.</li>
<li>Accurately counting and balancing of cashier bank. Maintain cashier drawer transaction records and prepare daily cash inventory form.</li>
<li>Redemption of video gaming tickets and gaming chips.</li>
<li>Maintain imprest bank balance through buy/sell from the vault.</li>
<li>Cashes personal checks for currency.</li>
<li>Redeems foreign currency, computing accurate exchange rates for the various currencies received.</li>
<li>Maintains a working knowledge of facilities, as well as special events, programs and casino games in order to advise customers of same, whenever possible.</li>
<li>Assist in maintaining cage floor security by notifying department supervisors, security and surveillance of suspicious activity.</li>
<li>Assists other Cashiers within the Cage, as needed.</li>
<li>Facilitates the flow of information by attending required supervisor meetings.</li>
<li>Held accountable, to a very high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records, reports and Confidentiality.</li>
<li>Must be proactive and identify problems, and solutions. Follow up with Cage Manager or Lead Cage Supervisor.</li>
<li>Maintain a working knowledge of our database system to perform duties with the promotional tracking system.</li>
<li>Promote Casino promotions with all customers and prompt new customers to sign onto our players club.</li>
<li>Assist each customer through the membership process by inputting customer data into promotional tracking system.</li>
<li>Responsible for keeping accurate and thorough departmental records and reports.</li>
<li>Promote all marketing events and in-house promotions.</li>
<li>Will assist Lead Cage Supervisor and Cage Manager with special projects as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and clear workstation.</li>
<li>Responsible for stocking promotional items; such as bungee cords, club cards and other items for promotional use. Inform Guest Services when items run low.</li>
<li>Must be able to work shift work, holidays, weekends, and special events.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
SUPERVISOR DUTIES
<ul>
<li>Ensuring that Company Values are at the forefront of any decisions and actions.</li>
<li>Responsible for all transactions and documentation that flow through the Vault, including, but not limited to Table Games fills and credits, the receipt and distribution of the ATM and ticket redemption kiosk funds, gift certificates, gift cards, revenue banks and buy/sells from the cashier's cage.</li>
<li>Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.</li>
<li>Assists various departments in counting gratuities.</li>
<li>Accesses funds and ensures prompt distribution to appropriate areas of property.</li>
<li>Assists the Cage Manager with implementation of departmental policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Prepares cashier performance evaluations. Coach employees, as needed.</li>
<li>Ensures the integrity of all financial data produced by Employees under his/her span of control.</li>
<li>Update Canadian exchange rate on a daily basis.</li>
<li>Accurately balances assigned banks on scheduled shift.</li>
<li>Count gratuities and log into vault.</li>
<li>Ensures that all ATM machines and CEK machines on site are maintained and functional at all times, this includes fills.</li>
</ul>

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Must be 18 years of age.</li>
<li>High School diploma or (GED) preferred. Cash handling experience preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of one-year experience in casino cage operations or related area required.</li>
<li>Ability to lead and motivate employees.</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills.</li>
<li>Effective communications skills.</li>
<li>Must be extremely numbers-oriented.</li>
<li>Must have basic computer knowledge for data entry.</li>
<li>Must be able to multi-task.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and use good judgment.</li>

<li>Attend required training sessions offered by the Casinos.</li>

<li>Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.</li>
<li>Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the employee's department.</li>
<li>Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.</li>
<li>Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management</li>

Cage Cashier/Supervisor

Job Description
The Petersburg Family YMCA is seeking part time enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool! We are looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers who are interested in becoming lifeguards (we will certify you if you qualify)! Looking for morning and afternoon availability. This is a part time position that starts at $14.00 per hour.
DUTIES for Lifeguards
Qualified lifeguards will be responsible for the safety of the members and program participants.
QUALIFICATIONS for Lifeguards
Lifeguards must be at least 15 years old and have current CPR, AED, First Aid and either American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification. Oxygen Administration (O2) is preferred but not required. The Y will train interested candidates who meet basic swim requirements if not already certified!
