The Athletics &amp; Aquatics Manager is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of a broad range of daily out-of-school time programs for youth during the school year at the Alfred Elson, Jr. Clubhouse. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all licensing, accreditation, and evaluation for these programs.&nbsp;&nbsp;Full Time, Salary, Monday-Friday, some nights and weekends.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of sports, fitness, recreation, and aquatic programs, as well as special events that support Youth Development Outcomes, and meet State regulations and standards.</li>

<li>Provide guidance and act as a role model to members and staff, demonstrating leadership to assure conduct, safety, and development of members and staff, creating an environment that highlights the achievement of youth.</li>
<li>Monitor registration, attendance, and program participation for members, all to maximize enrollment.</li>
<li>Work with the Development Team in the creation of marketing materials including: registration forms and flyers, social media messages, additional outreach materials, etc. and in addition ensure grant compliance that includes the following: program implementation, data collection, outcome measurement, and reporting.</li>
<li>Annually, complete a minimum of 20 hours of training related to job responsibilities.</li>
<li>Establish a network and develop an ongoing relationship with appropriate city personnel, vendors, program providers, as well as local school personnel, and members’ parents/guardians.</li>
<li>Ensure program supplies are maintained, and kept within the program budget, including the stocking of first-aid kits, and the functioning of AEDs.</li>

EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Job DescriptionPersonal Trainer Job Description: Golds Gym Personal Trainers provide customized fitness programs to our members while educating and guiding them on proper nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and attaining a healthier lifestyle. Clients sign up with a personal trainer to be motivated, educated, and held accountable while working towards their fitness goals. By definition, a personal trainer is a fitness professional possessing the knowledge, skills and abilities for safe and effective exercise and fitness program design, instruction and assistance for the purpose of reaching personal health and fitness goals. This career path has a much higher profile than ever before and Golds Gym is committed to assisting our dedicated and driven staff members in the development of their skills and professional growth. Personal Trainer Expectations and Responsibilities:

<li>Punctual and prepared for all appointments with clients or staff meetings</li>
<li>Passionate about fitness and coaching others with purpose while providing excellent customer service</li>

<li>Desire to help clients reach their health and fitness goals through proper cardiovascular, flexibility and resistance exercise</li>

<li>Conducts Fitness Assessments according to GGH protocol</li>
<li>Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends</li>

<li>Ability to design exercise programs tailored to the needs of specific clients/goals</li>
<li>Ability to demonstrate and teach exercises while providing feedback on technique</li>
<li>Ability to execute individual fitness program design in a safe and effective manner</li>
<li>Understands the importance of maintaining accurate and current client files</li>
<li>Dedicated to maintaining personal integrity and personal health and fitness</li>
<li>Willingness to uphold GGH protocol and policies</li>
<li>Attends mandatory and optional staff training classes</li>
