THE POSITION
Under direction of the Recreation Supervisor II or Recreation Coordinator, the position is responsible for the physical set up and tear down of equipment used for facility classes / events / rentals and for clean-up of the facility. The position also monitors events and facility rentals. The work schedule and hours will vary but this position is primarily weekday hours, with occasional weekend hours. 
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to: 
<ul>
<li>Setting up and breaking down rooms (furniture, equipment, etc.) used for classes, meetings, private parties, and other special events. </li>
<li>Cleaning of facilities including the lobby, multipurpose rooms, restrooms, kitchen, offices, reception area, and other areas before, during and after facility use to ensure a clean and orderly appearance. This may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, removing trash and recycling, cleaning restrooms, window cleaning, wiping of surfaces, and other related tasks.</li>
<li>Assisting with equipment and furniture needs for events and facility rentals. </li>
<li>Using District software to review facility rentals and classes to understand set up and needs. </li>
<li>Maintaining complete and accurate reports / records.</li>
<li>Opening/closing facility, including unlocking/locking doors, operating alarm system and lights.</li>
<li>Minor building and equipment maintenance and repair.</li>
</ul>
The position may perform other related work as assigned.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of building maintenance or related experience. Basic understanding of building cleaning methods and procedures; knowledge of the materials, supplies and equipment utilized in cleaning activities. Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products and chemicals. Ability to read and understand written instructions, use good judgment in carrying out written or oral instructions. Ability to operate general office equipment and mechanical cleaning devices. 
License / Certification: Graduation from high school or equivalent required. Must possess a valid California driver's license and demonstrate a good driving record. At time of interview, applicant must provide a Motor Vehicle Report (not more than 30 days old) from the Dept. of Motor Vehicles and a copy of diploma or GED certification. 
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS
Position will require standing or walking 90% of the time or more; some to occasional lifting, carrying and pushing or pulling loads to 60 pounds; occasional lifting to 100 pounds; frequent bending, occasional kneeling/squatting, climbing stairs/ladders, crawling, working on rough or uneven terrain, some reaching overhead/stretching and the necessary dexterity for handling and operating equipment. Requirements:What You’ll Do
As a Patient Concierge, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

<li>Deliver a personalized and friendly patient experience during registration, including greeting patients, updating demographic and financial information, and collecting co-pays </li>
<li>Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions, including assisting with paperwork and managing dynamic or escalated situations with professionalism and empathy </li>
<li>Schedule provider appointments, obtain pre-certifications and prior authorizations, and coordinate interpreters as needed </li>
<li>Process payments accurately, issue receipts, and complete all required documentation </li>
<li>Balance daily cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records </li>
<li>Prepare and maintain electronic medical records and registration materials in accordance with company policies </li>
<li>Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient information </li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area </li>
<li>Operate and maintain office equipment and manage supply inventory, and ordering </li>
<li>The support team needs to be flexible and perform additional duties as required</li>

Position Summary:
 As the Front Desk Administrator, you serve as the first point of contact in the leasing office of a large (384 units) affordable housing community. Responsibilities include greeting residents and visitors, managing appointments, providing directions, performing clerical and administrative tasks, and appropriately disseminating information. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as it involves a high volume of daily interaction. The ability to remain calm under pressure, problem-solve effectively, identify efficiencies, multitask, and maintain a respectful, professional demeanor at all times is essential. 
 
Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Greet and assist residents and visitors
- Answer and forward phone calls, take messages
- Collect and post rent, perform basic bookkeeping
- Receive and process maintenance requests
- Maintaining office equipment and assisting with supplies
- Perform word processing, filing, faxing, and administrative tasks
- Inform leasing staff of resident or guest arrivals
- Ensure proper documentation and sign-in for residents
- Maintain front desk and office organization and cleanliness
 
Requirements:
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong writing, verbal communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage processes, analyze information, and solve problems
 
Qualifications:
- 1 year of customer service or related experience
- Good interpersonal and listening skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, and Fair Housing regulations (training provided)
