It requires occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling. The position also involves great hand and eye coordination. Employee will be required to travel from time to time (20-50%) and must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate needs of HCSG branches and customers. This includes on-call and overtime. Travel out of town may be required at the discretion of the company. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is normally performed inside or outside (pending customer requirements) with varying degrees of extreme hot and cold temperatures depending on the weather. During summer months, temperatures can exceed 120 degrees. This position will be frequently exposed to noise, heights, fumes, dust, and odors. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:
\n\n
<ul>\n\t
<li>At least one (1) year of experience working on Class A trucks</li>
\n\t
<li>Experience working with air brakes, hydraulic &amp; electrical systems.</li>
\n\t
<li>Prior welding and fabrication experience required</li>
\n\t
<li>Tire repair experience (repair, mounting, dismounting) preferred.</li>
\n\t
<li>Perform DOT inspections and compliancy</li>

Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
\n\n
<ul>\n\t
<li>Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components such as doors, floors, side panels, electrical and air brake systems</li>
\n\t
<li>Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on tractor and trailer equipment, including routine technical repairs and completing repair orders</li>
\n\t
<li>Perform maintenance repairs as required to maximize safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, lift-gates, and any company-owned equipment</li>
\n\t
<li>Abide by all Company policies and safety rules and assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment</li>
\n\t
<li>Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues</li>
\n\t
<li>Maintain repairs for Class 8 trucks, trailers and yard tractors</li>
\n\t
<li>Safely operates gauges, forklifts, shunt trucks, torches, grinders, and various hand and power safety tools</li>
