The Civil Estimator will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase by providing accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects. &nbsp;This is a well established civil shop that has a track record of retaining good employees. &nbsp;Apply today! Key Responsibilities

<li>Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects including materials, labor, and equipment.</li>
<li>Analyze bids and perform bid comparisons to support the selection of subcontractors and suppliers.</li>
<li>Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure that estimates reflect project scope and requirements.</li>
<li>Utilize software tools such as HCSS Heavybid and Primavera for scheduling and cost estimation.</li>
<li>Conduct on-site evaluations and assessments to gather relevant data for accurate estimating.</li>
<li>Communicate with stakeholders to clarify project specifications and requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout the estimating process.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 8 years of experience in estimating within the civil construction industry.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>HeavyBid (HCSS) experience</li>
<li>MS Office experience</li>
<li>AGTEK-Take off experience</li>
<li>Primavera experience</li>
<li>Experience with Design-Build project delivery methods is a plus</li>
</ul>
