Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Uphold the Nurtur Core Values, Core Behaviors, and Aveda Success Factors</li>
<li>Provide ongoing recognition, support, and motivation for students</li>
<li>Actively engage students in their education through demonstrations, activities, and interactive teaching</li>
<li>Continually check with students for understanding of subject matter and adjust teaching methods as-needed </li>
<li>Serve as a role model by communicating and enforcing policies and procedures</li>
<li>Ability to overcome objections by offering valid solutions </li>
<li>Strong organizational skills</li>
<li>Partner with Director and Education Manager to ensure compliance with all NACCAS and State Board regulations</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Willing to work a flexible schedule; including evenings and weekends</li>
</ul>
 
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or GED equivalent</li>
<li>A valid, state-issued Massage Therapy license and maintenance of such license</li>
<li>Experience in a salon/spa setting</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and with others in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Exhibit leadership qualities, time-management abilities, organizational skills, self-direction, and initiative</li>
<li>Ability to set and achieve goals, implement decisions, and work under strict deadlines</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li>
<li>Strong commitment to customer service excellence and to the Company's mission and vision </li>
</ul>
 
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
<ul>
<li>Walk, stand up, and/or sit for up to twelve (12) hours per day</li>
<li>Use hands to handle objects and reach with hands and arms</li>
<li>Walk, sit, stand, balance, stoop, speak, and hear</li>
<li>See a computer screen and read paper and electronic documents</li>
<li>Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds </li>
<li>Tolerate a minimal to moderate noise level typical of a school environment </li>

Travel Requirements:The team member in this position must be able to travel locally to events and for out-of-state training and events as necessary.
