Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wellness Director to lead our health and wellness initiatives. This role is responsible for developing wellness programs that support physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Develop and manage individualized care plans for residents</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations</li>
<li>Monitor resident health and coordinate medical interventions</li>
<li>Design and implement wellness programs and activities</li>
<li>Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers</li>
<li>Maintain accurate health records and documentation</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)</li>
<li>3–5 years of experience in senior care or assisted living</li>
<li>Strong leadership and team management skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of geriatric care and wellness principles</li>
<li>Excellent communication and organizational abilities</li>
<li>Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems</li>
</ul>
Preferred Skills
<ul>
<li>Certification in gerontology or wellness programming</li>
<li>Experience with dementia and memory care</li>
<li>CPR and First Aid certification</li>
</ul>
Working Conditions
<ul>
<li>May include evening or weekend hours</li>
<li>On-call responsibilities may be required</li>
<li>Physical activity including walking, standing, and occasional lifting</li>
