The CHCNJ Denville Group Home is seeking a Part-time Direct Support Professional. This position pays $19.50 per hour. Afternoon, evening and weekend hours are available. Substitute positions are also available.
Minimum requirements for employment at CHCNJ:

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner</li>
<li>Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, including oral care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing in a caring and supportive manner as needed per resident</li>
<li>Provide supervision, cueing or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident</li>
<li>Roll carts, laundry hampers and other equipment safely through work and resident areas</li>
<li>Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure</li>
<li>Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge</li>
<li>Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Education: High school diploma/GED preferred</li>
<li>Certification: First Aid Course</li>
<li>Experience: Previous experience preferred</li>
