Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Chemist to join our team. This role involves chemical synthesis on a multi-kilo scale and requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Perform chemical synthesis on a multi-kilo scale and execute via batch record.</li>
<li>Maintain documentation standards to meet GMP requirements, including recording charges/transfers, acknowledging actions as they are performed, and documenting key observations related to specific operations.</li>
<li>Set up, operate, and clean all plant equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, filter dryers, shelf dryers, and milling equipment.</li>
<li>Participate in staging raw materials, loading raw materials into equipment, and unloading intermediates and products from dryers.</li>
<li>Read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively in a group setting.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Chemical Engineers to produce R&amp;D Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API).</li>

Essential Skills

<li>Proficiency in blending, GMP, GLP, and pharmaceutical quality standards.</li>
<li>Experience with batch records, transfers, API, R&amp;D, Microsoft Word, reactors, centrifuges, chromatography, and wet chemistry.</li>
<li>Ability to read batch records and lift up to 50 pounds.</li>
<li>Manual compounding experience.</li>
