The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and a thorough understanding of automotive systems. Must have ASE Certification! Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine issues. Use diagnostic equipment to identify problems and determine appropriate repair solutions. Perform inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety and emissions standards. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about vehicle issues, repair timelines, and maintenance recommendations. Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in automotive technology preferred. Valid certification (e.g., ASE, manufacturer-specific certifications). Minimum [2-5] years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate diagnostic tools, lifts, and other automotive shop equipment. Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in various positions.
