El personal de mantenimiento se asegura de que la yarda se mantenga en orden y segura, además de garantizar que las condiciones de la planta se mantengan durante las distintas estaciones.
Funciones Esenciales:
• Supervisar el estado de la planta y se ocupa de las necesidades de poda y fertilización.
• Determinar si una planta se puede cuidar hasta que recupere la salud o si es necesario clasificarla como deterioro en el inventario. Tomar medidas para que la planta esté sana o alertar al Encargado de Inventario de la planta en mal estado.
• Atar árboles a cables a la altura de la cabeza en camas / contenedores de viveros y reemplace las estacas rotas en las plantas.
• Alertar a los compradores sobre cantidades excesivas de la misma planta / variedad.
• Mantener el vivero limpio y organizado. Usar sopladores de hojas, llevar bolsas de basura a basureros, organizar galpones, mover pallets a las áreas correctas después de su uso, etc.
• Varias tareas según las indicaciones de la Gerencia de la Yarda.
• Mantener el equipo de protección personal (PPE) y las herramientas suministradas por la empresa (guantes, gafas de seguridad, tijeras de podar, etc.)
