Handle medical and insurance records, as well as billing and other related duties as assigned. Manage patient communications and staff calendars. Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Answers incoming telephone calls on a multi-line telephone system in a professional manner.</li>
<li>Schedule patient appointments.</li>
<li>Transfers calls to the appropriate person and writes messages in accordance with approved telephone procedures.</li>
<li>Greet patients and visitors as they enter the office and notify the appropriate person of the patient’s arrival.</li>
<li>Collect and post co-pays and remind patients of past due balances on the day of office visit.</li>
<li>Ensure patients check out as they leave the office and follow check-out procedures.</li>
<li>Confirm patient appointments.</li>
<li>Document and notify Doctor when a patient cancels an appointment.</li>
<li>Type correspondence and office memos as directed.</li>
<li>Transcribe information regarding patient visits for medical reports.</li>
<li>Prepare and provide the Doctor’s patient files by pulling charts, gathering paperwork, and printing daily appointment schedules.</li>

<li>Monday - Wednesday 7:45am to 7:00pm</li>
<li>Thursday and Friday 7:45am to 5:00pm</li>

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or Equivalent</li>
<li>Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).</li>
<li>One year of prior experience in a medical setting preferred</li>
