Job Summary:
The Trademark Paralegal, under the supervision of the Intellectual Property Practice Manager, is responsible for performing a wide variety of patent prosecution support and administrative tasks including basic document creation and departmental file organization and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Drafting trademark prosecution documents </li>
<li>Provide docketing support services </li>
<li>Assist with preparation of U.S. trademark filings </li>
<li>Review formality notices and prepare reporting letters</li>
<li>Recognize and report office actions generated by USPTO</li>
<li>Prepare reporting letters for granted trademark registration certificates</li>
<li>Prepare and send reminder letters</li>
<li>Coordinate foreign trademark application filings with attorneys and foreign counsel </li>
<li>Monitor the trademark docket and proactively prepare for upcoming deadlines </li>
<li>Provide backup support for trademark docketing as needed </li>
<li>Organizing and maintaining paper files and file room upkeep</li>
<li>Maintaining client folders within the DMS including uploading, organizing and archiving documents</li>
<li>Maintaining confidentiality of organizational information</li>
<li>Perform various other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Skills and Abilities:
 
<ul>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including MS Word and Excel</li>
<li>Familiarity with IP docketing systems</li>
<li>Must demonstrate aptitude for learning other office related software</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Ability and willingness to work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers</li>
<li>Work schedule flexibility, including availability to work overtime</li>
</ul>

What does aN Experienced FIELD Surveillance Investigator do?
As a Surveillance Investigator at Ethos Risk Services, you will conduct covert surveillance, review files, and draft detailed case reports. Working autonomously from your vehicle, you will capture video evidence of surveillance targets, collaborate with our Operations Managers, and ultimately improve the integrity of the health care and insurance industry. What you need to be successful
To qualify for this position candidates must possess:

<li>A valid private investigator license</li>
<li>A valid driver's license</li>
<li>A well-maintained / reliable vehicle (preferably with tinted windows)</li>
</ul>
In this role you will use discretion, communicate with our Operations Managers regularly, and apply critical thinking skills while conducting surveillance and gathering evidence. Adaptability, attention to detail, and strong analytical capabilities are essential qualities for success at Ethos.
Candidates who are self-motivated, resourceful, and able to maintain a high level of professionalism in various situations will thrive in this position.
Work Schedule
Most investigations will begin at 6AM and may require you to leave your home between 4-5AM. Candidates who are willing to work most weekends and holidays will be prioritized in the hiring process.
