Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns in manufacturing production equipment.</li>
<li>Perform electrical troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and preventative/predictive maintenance.</li>
<li>Diagnose and resolve complex equipment problems with minimal initial information or direction.</li>
<li>Collaborate and communicate effectively with other operations personnel.</li>
<li>Follow all personal safety, food safety, and environmental standards.</li>
<li>Adhere to established maintenance processes and technical standards to maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED (required).</li>
<li>24 years of maintenance experience in a food production/manufacturing environment.</li>
<li>Proven ability to repair and troubleshoot mechanical issues on packaging, filling, and other food processing equipment.</li>
<li>Experience with high-speed production equipment; Evergreen packaging equipment experience is a plus.</li>
<li>Strongly preferred: prior dairy, food, or beverage manufacturing maintenance experience.</li>
<li>Background in a combination of the following areas:</li>
<li>PLC</li>
<li>Instrumentation</li>
<li>Pumps</li>
<li>Mechanical, pneumatic, motors, electrical, hydraulic, lubrication</li>
<li>HVAC, refrigeration, freezers, compressors, utilities, boilers</li>
<li>Ammonia-based systems</li>
</ul>
